THE VISION

GATEWAY TO

LITTLEHAMPTON

The proposal for Hampton Quay references its historic use providing a gateway into Littlehampton by river and road with a new high quality, mixed use riverside development. It will provide public access to the river alongside new homes, moorings for leisure craft.

The development will embrace a holistic design approach, that incorporates improvements in biodiversity, habitat, water quality, flood resilience, sustainable homes, adaptation to climate change, new cycle and riverside walks, and a new water ferry stop with links to Littlehampton and Arundel.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

From the initial ideas we developed the design to reduce the height to the north and increase the height towards the bridge - to create a hierarchy from the river towards the town centre.
